Erhard F. Freitag (1940-2015) was a German hypnotherapist and esoteric author. He is known as a follower of Joseph Murphy and an author in the field of the New Spirit movement and positive thinking.
Freitag was born as the second son into a Protestant family; his father was a civil servant. He initially learned a craft and also completed commercial training, but soon devoted himself to the philosophy of Joseph Murphy, from whom he was taught and with whom he went on a lecture tour in Switzerland, Austria and Germany.In 1974, Freitag founded the “Institute for Hypnosis Research” in the Arabellahaus in Munich, where he offered hypnosis treatments. At times he employed over 30 therapists. At that time he was made a life member of the INTA (International New Thought Alliance) and Joseph Murphy made him his official lecturer.
His first book was published on Friday in 1981. His main works are the books “The Power of Your Consciousness” and “Power Center Subconscious”. He wrote ten books, which were published in 14 languages.
